I am trying to set a quiz sheet for the charity shop that I slave in.

I have some questions about our local area and about Scotland but would like to get some questions that will be more difficult to find via Google.

Does anyone have, filed away in the back of their brain, a bit of information that is not generally known or just something quirky that I can throw in to make it more fun. All answers have to be verifiable with the help of auntie Google.

My interesting fact (which might not be a good question) is 'did you know that 'domestic cats' (an oxymoron surely) don't ovulate until they copulate thus almost certainly ensuring conception?!

Interesting ~ sounds like a song: "The best time to ovulate, is when you copulate, and don't mess with Mister Inbetween". I really must get up now; I didn't stay in bed late until I bought a laptop!
