Not the best that the FT has ever published although some of the clues were very clever. I am stuck on one: 7D: The Lark Ascending- part of opera company's debut. I have ?A?O?T. It looks like "CAVORT" which could be a lark but I do not understand the rest of it.

cavort = reading backwards part of oper trova ( trvatore) + companys debut = c
Excuse typos ( I think my keyboard has developed dyslexia)
Could be Trova (tore) + C, fist letter of company.

Ye Gods! I would never have worked that one out. For the FT, that is "cryptic" taken to a new level. Many thanks
