In both games, four words are declared and it is your job to guess what real words will link with the declared words to make either a new word, or a well-known phrase.
eg. with ORAL declared, you could choose 'exam'. 'history', 'balm', 'past', or 'elect' to go with it.
You are trying to match the 4 link-words that have been chosen by the setter.
In the case of the KM links Game, The setter is Kate Mepham and the words are revealed via the GK Crosswords in the Daily Telegraph on Saturdays and Mondays.
One correct match scores 1 point, 2 matches = 3 points, 3 matches = 6 points and all 4 matches earns you a massive 10 points. Launched in Q&P by Seekeerz early on Saturday morning. Play anytome over the weekend before midnight Sunday
In the case of the MM Links game (Started in memory of Kate's father, Michael Mepham), it is one of our players who sets the links. This month, the setter is beejay131. His introduction will appear in Q&P at 8:45 am (as we haven't yet mastered the post-launch introduction) and the challenge itself will appear at 9am prompt(ish).
Early play gives the best chance of higher scores because in that game, each match is worth just 1 point but a bonus point goes to the first discoverer of each link and to anyone who matches it within the following 2 minutes.
