'Little did I think that 'Don Corleone' (my given name by Crofter), would need to try and shoot you all down again. When I was checking how well (or badly) I had performed last week in the KM and MM games, I first checked at KM, only to see that the star performer 'Cliffyg' had made reference to me selecting the words for June on the MM side. So I quickly switched back to the Sunday evening results for MM, to see that along with Rockfordill, I had managed to finish second, and as you have not been under the guns since September 2009, I have accepted Gen2's invitation to be your Mafioso manager for the next 5 weeks.
The first person who will be in my firing line will be Cliffyg, whose Essex Under 14 team I umpired in the sunshine last Sunday, having been burnt by it on Saturday, when I overlooked the use of Factor 10/20/30 whatever number. His team was successful in their game against Suffolk, and I suffered the usual hilarious abuse from him, about being blind, deaf and not able to count (one seven ball over down to me). He means well, and has a lovely black labrador, Jess, who you see as his avatar picture, except she is a few years older now and has a green collar.'
