A friend texted Kk. When I asked, she said it was used by her teenage sons in texting to mean 'OK' or 'agreed'. Were they having her on? What does it mean either as KK or Kk ?

I believe it is the same as OK, I often get KK from bro of mine.

That makes sense, ark. The boys are texting their mother, after all, so a bit of affection might not be amiss :kk being kiss kiss or OK.

I'm sure you must have heard them say it after insisting they do something... for EG: 'tidy your room do it now' answer skulky reply "KK" =okay okay.

I do like the other one better though.

My adult sons and I have used 'K' as a txtspeak form of 'Okay' for ages. Given that I am their father, none of us has ever intended it to mean 'Kiss'!

A friend of mine said only yesterday that his grandson keeps saying something's sick-meaning good or ok. It's spelt in a text as sic which actually means 'the wrong spelling but that's how it was given to me' (or words to that effect).
What with changing the meaning of the words 'gay' and 'wicked' among others I dread to think what will be next.
