Driving in Cambridgeshire I spotted notice outside a pub in Quy "book your Christmas parties now" mad or what - most people haven't even had their summer holidays yet!!!

Christmas tree farm near us - Sussex - keeps its sign up 365 days a year. Sometimes 366 days

No, thats the norm round here. if you leave it until july onwards theres a chance they would be fully booked, certainly by august.

There's a place near us that I've been to twice for Christmas nights out and it's fantastic.
Their tickets go on sale in early January and people queue then to be sure of getting their booking in.

Oddly enough we go out for Christmas Lunch.
We have just paid a deposit and I notice the restaurant was over half booked.
The restaurant owner did say however that he does contact the clients about 3 weeks before as a lot of them are in their 80's and a few are in their 90s.

But you have to book early for Christmas, that's just the way it is. My firm always books its Christmas party in January !
