Here's a solution without a foul. Only one red left. Your opponent has left you a free ball -- Yellow as free ball, yellow as itself, (final) red, yellow, and yellow again (with reds all potted and now clearing the colours in sequence). Points scored 1, 2, 1, 2, 2. Howzat?

A free ball given by your apponent would allow you to pot the yellow(this is concidered as a red) 1 point. then you pot red/yellow twice( another 6 points) then a red 1point. then go in off on your next yellow 0 points(but 4 points given away)

The break doesn't end on a foul stroke
And what i told you a minute ago was a load of rubbish. It could have been attained in 9 points with my theory. Sorry, but i'm stumbled. Hope someone can answer

7 POINTS EVEN!!
maths obviously isn't my strong point. lol: )
free ball, so pot yellow for 1 point then yellow as colour, 3 points, pot last red, 4 points, pot yellow as colour. 6 points, pot yellow as first of colours, 8 points.
well done bilsuth : )
Sorry, I don't understand. I gave an answer for eight points. I don't think 7 can be done, but 9 can (with either and extra red = 6 pots, or yellow plus a red in first shot, since both are "on" balls even though you can't see red directly or else you wouldn't have free ball)

Thanks for your input well done
-- answer removed --
freeball = Y 1P
Y= 2P
R = 1P
Y = 2P
R = 1P
Y = OP if you go in off

total = 7 points with 4 given away. but as stated, no foul at end

The way I read it Bilsuth you and Mac44 got it right
I think we should pot this one to bed lol
I agree magicmick, they ARE correct. Hence me saying 'well done bilsuth : ) '
I was stating how it can be done in 7 points. But as you stated ' The break doesn't end on a foul stroke '. This was NOT part of the original question. If the thread is re-read, you will see this. Goodnight. : )
