My apologies Baldric that you can't 'mind-read' the question, but I purposely did not want any-one to give me a specific 'answer' just a yes or no, and it was aimed at any-one doing this particular quiz. Thanks for your comment anyway.

I haven't got the first part yet, but my possible answer for (b) has different spellings depending on which of the two words it refers to (sorry to anyone not doing the quiz, but my reasons for not being more open are the same as julia-mag's). I suppose this means I've got it wrong and will have to start again.
