Disappointing names

Found out that there is a sparkleberry tree and was childishly disappointed when I saw a picture of one (it's a perfectly nice tree, but not what I was hoping for). Any names of stuff disappointed you?

I knew a lady who went to see Grand Prix and moaned because it was all about cars.
D97, yours reminds me of Grange over Sands which is often called Grange over Mud for a good reason.
Where I live in Eastbourne there's an area called Shinewater - a lovely name which conjures up mental images of dappled sunlight playing on the ripples of a lake...

The fact that the locals refer to it as Crimewater should tell you all you need to know about what it's really like. :-(
