A friend gave me a cutting last year and now I have a small outdoor plant with oval-type leaves which are variegated red/green - there is a small white flower.
She cannot remember the name of it - can any ABers help, please?

Thank you SO much, Hammerman - the leaf does have a citrus smell and I checked plant on a gardening website - definitely what you told me.
Hazlinny, if it is that, you can cut the leaves and eat them in salads - they are yummy.
They can also be grown as a marginal in a pond and be careful if you plant them in a border, they can be a bit invasive.

Thanks, Boxtops, and Hammerman again for your added comments - the plant is certainly thriving in all this rain!
