50-part Cryptic Yorkshire quiz where the answers are all places in Yorkshire and I am stuck on one! The clue is:

Motorbike leaning on a lamppost!

Based on the clues given on the sheet, the Yorkshire village/town in question has six letters - and the 4th letter is T.

Also - as all answers are in alpbetical order, it will sit between Micklebring and Patrick Brompton. So it's quite likely (but not guaranteed) to begin with N.

I have thought of Norton due to the motorbike reference, but fail to see how this has any relevance to a lamppost! Many thanks.

Norton is correct. The clue refers to George Formby in the movie "No limits" in which he rode a Norton.

Well done Spotty Dog. In case Mattfish is under fifty, George Formby's most famous song was 'I'm leaning on a Lamppost'.

Thank you - really appreciate this. I knew the song, despite only being 28, but not the movie.
