I've been to Lefkas three times. Absolutely lovely. We've found a nice villa in Aghios Ioannis about twenty minutes slow stroll round the lagoon into Lefkas Town. The town is lovely, very quaint and traditional. This year we went there when the Euro football was on. We've had some very bad experiences with football whilst on holiday. (Essentially, we don't want to watch TV in general or football in particular whilst away). Although matches were shown in some of the bars in the town, it was limited to the main square and did not encroach into the "back alleys". Most pleasant of all was that there were not hoardes of unpleasant Brits rolling drunk in the gutters.
