Apologies for the vagueness. The question is the Sunday Times Where Was I question, the clues I have solved lead to the number 16, which is "architecturally significant at a house where the trail ends, 10 miles away". I have been following a route (not a specific trail?) and am currently at the Marker's Cottage identified.
might be - A la Ronde, Exmouth ? a unique 16-sided house - must be about ten miles away
