If you look at my link, the last verse is:
When the waves of sorrow roar, when I am in distress,
Jesus takes my hand in His, ever He loves to bless, (THIS IS THE LINE YOU NEED)
He will every fear dispel, satisfy every need,
All who heed His loving call find rest indeed

I have a Saviour: He’s pleading in glory;
According to my Google books link it was "I was sinking deep in sin..."
I have seen that too factor30, and thought the answer was Love Lifted Me. However, someone else had suggested MarkRae gets best answer. ???
Is the question asking for the name of the hymn or the first line?

It's the first line of the hymn - yes I checked MarkRae's answer but unfortunately I couldn't find the line 'Ever he loves to bless' in his answer which was - I Have a Saviour, He's pleading in glory;

Many thanks to Factor30 and TheWinner - really appreciated x
You're welcome. However, I rarely question MarkRae's answers, he's very clever.
Nice one TW.It's a lovely Redemption hymn
Hi quinie, haven't been on here much this week, too busy! Hope you are OK.
Did I get that wrong? Apologies... :-(
No need for apologies Mark, you contribute your knowledge, like everyone else, and sometimes we're right, and sometimes we aren't. Your input into AB is very important, and you are far brighter than I am.
Just seen this post - yes definitely is from "Love lifted me" Mission Praise no 450, in the index as Love lifted me but the first line is "I was sinking deep in sin" We sing this regularly in our church and one of my favourites!
