Thank you everyone for playing. I wish I could award everyone points but that was in the hands of 'Lady Jill', aka 'tearinghair', who selected the following links:=

CABIN TRUNK
ROCK STAR
WOOD CHUCK
BEAR SKIN

Correct guesses were few and far between this weekend, and no bonus points were earned other than by the first discoverers.
To find out who were the lucky ones, please see below.

First to fall was WOOD CHUCK - not surprising with a theme set in North America, and that went to 'rockfordill' who also has a North American association. Well done for 2 points.

Cliffyg obviously likes a romp in front of the fire on a BEAR SKIN rug and earned 2 pints for the privelege.

Those two had a few later mathes for single points but the final links only had solo discoverers.

Teacher1 was feeling like a ROCK STAR at ten to 2 on Saturday afternoon (2 points)

. . . but the final link of CABIN TRUNK held out until 2am on Sunday - a rare event indeed - but earned Twix123 a well earned 2 points and . . .

wish i could claim the credit but my wife lady jo is deputising for me

she was clearly thinking of a romp on the bear skin rug while i was out at indoor cricket

the usual occupant of our bear skin rug is jess the labrador

deecee was nearly terminated while umpiring when the batsman was left holding his bat handle as the rest of the bat flew past deecee's left ear.
Oh well - must do better.

Thanks Gen2 - reminds me of the childhood rhyme:

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Thanks Lady Jill and Gen2. Hotshot of the week - whoee!! and after a couple of very poor months.
Sorry, folks, I'll try to be more predictable next week!
Thanks for our one point a piece!
