I am still trying to find a good solution for the following 2 dingbats

DAY DAY where the left hand one is also bold.

Turning the Tide or the Tide has turned seemed fine.
I thought the DAY one may be something to do with the fourth 'day' being light (whereas the other days were dark) and I referred to the Bible and on the fourth day there was light, or some words based on that

Tide over, ebbtide, the turn of the tide or the tide has turned (but there is no "the" in the clue for the last two)
One fine day, dark days ahead, daylight (at last), the light of day - I checked the bible reference and while God made the sun etc on the fourth day he had already let there be light on the first!
