I read that Hamilton has accused Button for having “unfollowed” him on Twitter. It was pointed out to him that Button had, in fact, never “followed” him on Twitter. Would some kind person please inform me what the heck all this means. As Just William would say, “There’s no sense in it”.

It rather reminds me of the fact that my new girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well, she's not my girlfriend quite yet.

Yes twinkletoes, I thought so too but wondered just where to put it. As you obviously are an expert on classification of queries, perhaps you could advise me as to where it is best addressed. Vimto.
Twitter is a stream of short messages posted by people; if you find someone's postings sufficiently interesting then you 'follow' them (by selecting the option to do that) so that so can view their posts separately from what is posted by everyone else. Once you get bored with them you 'unfollow' them so that whatever they post is mixed in with all the rest.
^... so that YOU can view their posts...
I guess it's like 'unfriending' on Facebook. Hamilton really has too high an opinion of himself these days.

Ah! now I understand. Thank you bubbletub, I thought you'd know. I have heard of Twitter of course but I don't subscribe to these social sites. Thank you too chelle, I'll remember the "unfriending" comparison on the other thing. It's seems a bit like the Arabs do and say to one's wife, "I divorce thee" three times and job's a good'un! Old twinkletoes is a bit cranky today n'est-ce-pas?
Some people do get particular about where people post don't they?
As long as you get your answer I couldn't care...
