Thanks Slinky kate. Yes I saw that in the paper but don't understand why. I thought I had completed it correctly.

It was the clue with the answer KATE ADIE they printed it as 8 letters instead of 4,4.
Plenty of warning not here not to post until Monday when an A/ber was going to check with the paper, they did this told us that it would be null &void and not to post.

Answer was Kate Adie and they had put 8 letters instead of 4, 4,
I had already posted it and I think most people would have ignored the 8.
Crossbar in scotsman makes mistakes most weeks but someone always wins it is never void.
