Morning Star ?

The sun is not quite up over the horizon yet, here in South Wales. There is a lone star in the sky, in an approx. easterly direction. Do anyone know what this star is aclled ?

Might be Venus.

The morning star is Venus. It is also the evening star.

Thanks guys. Its getting a little feint now, as the sun is just about to pop up over the hills. Its also been really "twinkling" !

It is, indeed. It used to be a pint of Guinness and racing on the television sort of place. Last time I passed it there was a board outside advertising their Seafood menu.

At 6 am this morning Jupiter and venus were both on view.

Morning all. I was never one for eating in bars. The menu when I called in was probably sandwiches, pork pies, and packets of peanuts.
The great thing about the city centre bars was that they were neutral territory. If you worked with people 'from the other side' you could arrange to have a drink there and be fairly safe.

I don't think we've seen stars at night or the morning for weeks.
