Last week I told you about trying to keep my brain active, this week I thought I would explain what I do to keep the body active.
We have the Vitality exercise class which is NHS backed . This a class for the over 60's in Lincolnshire. Our class age ranges from 60 to 85 (I am in the lower range) we start by doing fairly gentle exercises to warm up by stretching arms and legs and then continue with a bit more strenuous movements. This is all done to music and hopefully doing us some good.
It is also a social event as we stay after class for coffee and biscuits and have quite a laugh
