Christmas carol?

Looking for a Christmas carol-type song that I heard about 3 years ago at St Paul's Catherdral. It was choral, possibly without instruments, and I think had the flavour of Gaudete/Il Dulce Jubilo/I Saw Three Ships. It was quite catchy too but not very common and I have only heard it one other time. I haven't been able to find it since and I've been trawling through YouTube without success.
Ok, this isn't much to go on, I agree, but any suggestions?
Thanks.

Was it the Sussex carol? "On Christmas Night All Christians Sing..."

Hi Plautus. No, not that one but thanks anyway.
On Christmas night all Christians sing
To hear the news the angels bring....?
Could be anything, then really. If you could remember a few words it might help, else you will just have to wait till you hear it the next time (hopefully).
If you type in gaudete into google, there are quite a few suggestions there. Sorry being computer illiterate, I'm unable to do links. I hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck.
Gaudete sounds nothing like In Dulce Jubilo, though...

Was just trying to differentiate between those type of songs to the full-blown, traditional carols like O Come All Ye Faithful etc.

Thanks for the suggestions and lists which I am working through. Nothing that jogs the memory yet though and I fear I may just have to be patient until I come across it again.

Thanks Robina, but no, not that one either!
Oh no, and I was singing it all night after posting that! :)
Please put us out of our misery and tell us if you find it Wiirone.

Ludwig I bet you're right...I hope so, I like that one.
Question Author
Ludwig, good one but it's not the one I heard. Thanks anyway.
Robina yes I'll let you know when I've found it. I first heard it at a Carols concert at St Pauls and once again at another Christmas concert at a church somewhere in Islington. It's somewhere in my head but it just won't connect.

Oh, sorry, Robinia!
