How are the floods Chez Vous?
We live in the Northern Dales. I'm going to take a pic and post it as we are 1300 ft above sea level and our fields are almost covered in water, our poor sheep standing on the 'hills' left between the mini lakes and the horses refused to go out this morning so are inside eating hay and quite happy thank you. We are in essence cut off from getting to any shops as although on a hill we have invariably got to go downhill to get to any shops and all the roads are flooded. It is tossing it down with a vengeance - whats it like where you are?

Personally, the drive is ruined - thank goodness, I was thinking about having it resurfaced over the summer but what came down was unbelievable, three inches of water - the lane hill behind totally awash......it crashed through to the lower garden. Two heavy branches down and maybe a third one as I have yet to look, the house ok and watertight - that's where I put the investment in the stone mason this year! Light in comparison to what you hear and see from St Just, Newlyn, Helston, St Austell etc.
Trust/hope Lady J is ok
