Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Please help me solve the following Ditloids:

3=B in a PC
32=I in H of S in C
3=US of C
83=NTW in CM
1947=AFDP

I'm pretty sure the second one is incorrect. I think it's Inches in Height of Stumps in Cricket but should be 28 not 32. The laws of cricket don't specify the overall length of a stump (including the bit that goes into the ground) - they just specify the length (28 inches) of the part above the pitch. The bit below ground can be any length although 4 inches sounds about right for a typical stump.

Have you solved 144 E is the DPSL for 2012 yet from a previous post?

You asked a similar question (100 NDPSL from 1st J) in December 2008 so if the quiz is from the same source you might have that answer to help solve this one.

Many thanks for your answer.

My answer to 144= E is the DPSL for 2012 is
144= Euro is the Drug Payment Scheme Limit for 2012 but this is
incorrect because this new charge is from the 1st of January 2013 in Ireland!

Again, thanks for your help and if you can solve more of the above please let me know.

fairyking - ref. your discussion above re the height of cricket stumps. See
http://sports.indianetzone.com/cricket/1/cricket_equipments.htm and you will discover that a cricket stump is indeed 32 inches in height.

Investigate 83 = National Training Wage in Coal Mines"
3 = US of C; look up Ugly Sisters (Google) - there is something about 3 ugly sisters in the Christian religion.
