I am now back home and have checked for any late players - there were none.

This week, 'Queen Christiana' was much kinder to you all.

Firstly a warm welcome to the game for Tilly2. Sadly, no points for her this week but better luck next Saturday.

As the game got under way, Roslyn251254 immediately jumped straight in to the THERMAL SPRING only to be joined within the 2-minute bonus window by middlestump, rockfordill, grannydi and Aquagility all for two points
Many others followed later for a single point

BigMac cautiously invested in SAVINGS BANKS for his 2 points, a strategy that was only copied very much later by x-ray (1 point)

Player number 6, middlestump, then sought advice from the HARBOUR MASTER, earning himself 2 points, as also did Strix.

Then, with the clock still on 9:02, rockfordill decided the game was too bland without the addition of a BAY LEAF. Ulysses100 agreed so both collected 2 points.

With all those points flying about, it was not surprising that we had four double-hitters and I was beginning to wonder which of them was most worthy of the crown when mid afternoon, a player came along on her mystical steeds to snaffle three links and become hotshot.

We came home a little earlier than expected because of the threat of snow but still none for us.

It's been snowing here since 10 am and still coming down quite steadily; lighter than Friday, though.

Well I hope the showers of points put a (thermal) spring into everyone's steps, though with the nastier showers most of us are experiencing, I'm not surprised some of you opted for thermal vests instead.
