This is 'Emperor Kawakiri', I’ll start off with some background details so you may get some idea from that what my challenge words might be.
I am a Cheshire man born and bred and have not strayed from my town of birth apart for a spell at Blackpool college doing photography and anywhere work may have taken me for a few days.
My mum was a ladies hairdresser (blue rinse brigade) and my dad a salt miner, both no longer with us.
I was always into playing games and sports, with, for a while, the pub variety taking precedence.
I have worked in computer manufacturing (ICL), data/telecoms cabling. I worked for quite some time at one of the Scottish Banks involved in office churn and later project management. Of course the work at the bank dried up in 2008 and since then, working as a contractor to BT and being no longer required, I have taken what work I could find via job agencies. The last two jobs being at a local council office and Cheshire Constabulary.
One of the sports I played was American football and as this weekend is Super Bowl, so my challenge words might be influenced by that sport. I am in a bit of a dilemma regarding this years' final as a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers. As you may or may not be aware the final is between San Francisco and Baltimore, but if the 49ers win they will tie with the Steelers for most Superbowl wins and well, as for the Baltimore Ravens, we just don’t seem to get along with them so it’s a lose lose situation for me.
I have to claim 49ers loyalty with friends in San Francisco. My answers, as with many others above ,have a faint American Football slant, as follows
Sugar Bowl (College equivalent of Super Bowl)
Down Trodden (when tackled)
Back Wards (the defense (US spelling) on the retreat)
Death Penalty (over the top reaction for losing)
