Samsung Galaxy Ace Gt S5830

Hi just got a second hand samsung galaxy ace gt s5830.i have reset back to factory settings etc.but i cant find a way to update it to the latest software...on my brothers galaxy s2 you just go to settings about phone and software update but this update part doesnt appear on galaxy ace so how is it done.please advice thanks

yes it does, its right at the top of the about phone bit.

yes thats what i thought joko but it really doesnt on the ace it has all the other segments it should have but in the about phone at top there no software update it just starts whith the next option down ...thats what i dont understand

i have my ace right of me - it is right there....

have you scrolled up fully?

it may just be opening on the next one down so its not seen straightaway

Go to 'settings', then scroll to the bottom 'about phone' in there you will see software update.
