Mad Over Fifties Club

It is with great delight and owing to wi fi problems, by the skin of our teeth, that we are again able to open the doors of Nungate Towers to welcome in all Mad Over Fifties (not to mention one or two under fifties who qualify under the "special rules" for membership) to yet another evening of frivolities and fun! From the creative skills of our very own Queenofmean, tonight she has decided that tonight's tailcock (one of her own creations) will be the "Blonde Bombshell" a melange of white spirits and a secret blend of fruit nectars and spices - it packs quite a kick!! The hot plate tonight will be a delicious Mac and Cheese, (my very own creation - not your everyday mac and cheese!) we also have a selection of cold cuts, volly vonts, and canapes, and on the pudding trolley there is a huge sherry trifle.
As always, the hot tub is fired up and bubbling away on the North Tower, the elastic has been tested for the bungee, and tonight for one night only we have turned the Ballroom into a Roller Rink for roller skating (skates and safety gear provided) The Minstrels are tuning up in the Gallery for their customary Fugues and Madrigals, and later in the evening they have promised a selection of the Greatest hits of Alice Cooper!

I just wonder what the poor lad is getting into...................I've lived with her for nigh on 25 years - hasn't been easy! Talk about drama queen! I told him if he wanted to see the real queenie to come round when Barcelona play Real Madrid ................. he had a previous appointment that evening, and will be at sea for the next match and the one after that

Flying tonight was fine. Amazing how lit up the coast is. Eric needs a bit of a rest as he and Malkin were getting over excited watching today's matches. Hope both can have a nap before we head home.

Hi Queen. Don't worry about the spiders. He's not the only one, When my son moved into his own flat I got a phone call within fifteen minutes begging me to come and remove a spider from his bath room. He did come for me in the car though.
