What is the last thing you lost and the last thing you found?

Yesterday I found an iPhone whilst walking in the woods but lost a black leather folder with all my important documents in.

I did manage to reunite the phone with its owner and eventually found my folder, so good results all round.

i lost my keys, hunted around, turned out all the cupboards, looked on floor, got into a state, after a while retracing my steps found them they had fallen into a drawer where i keep the pens, don't ask me how they got there, but there they were....

I'm terrible for losing things. Not so good at finding things :-(

My son's bank passbook has disappeared, it's in the house, I've put it away and can't remember where :-/

I recently found a Bare Minerals foundation that I thought my daughter had pinched, it was down the back of the cupboard that my printer is on.

I found my building society passbook today, couldn't find it anywhere until now.

I've lost a bra :( Still not found it a couple of weeks on.

I found a debit card someone had dropped. I was shouting him but he didn't seem to hear me (headphones on probably) and am not able to run so I phoned the bank on the number on the card who cancelled it for him and I took it to the hospital (where I was) reception and destroyed it in front of them as proof it hadn't been stolen in case he returned to ask about it before he rang his bank.

I have put lots of things in a safe place and not been able to find them after. Not only were they safe from other people but looks as if they are also safe from me.

I lost my keys yesterday, em. Forgot I'd hung them on a hook inside the cupboard!

One of the best ones was going on a pre-booked holiday with my ex in NY not long after we split up. I could't find my set of our flat keys (or the suitcase key which was with them I was looking for). Rang the hotel concierge, the restaurant we had been in etc... in a panic but no joy. Endured some rather sniffy remarks from ex.

We were at security at the Empire State Building the morning after, I went through first and my stuff came out the other side of the airport style scanner...with my keys sat on top! Was a little freaked until ex admitted he had just found them in his pocket where they had been all along!

I lost boy #1 in a shopping centre - he was three, I was eight months pregnant and it was Christmas time, so hideously busy. Obviously I found him but it was horrible.

I found a wallet in a restaurant a few months ago. Its owner was still in the restaurant, so they were soon reunited.

I lost a silver hair slide about 7 years ago. Last week I opened a drawer and it was there on top of everything. I looked every where for that slide, turned the place upside down.

Glasses - for ever leaving them somewhere; however my latest "loss" was when I left my pc cable in the café last week - in the plug.
