Please would one of you experts out there, explain to me the logic behind 16D ? It has to be "underfoot" (I presume...) but I am most intrigued, as a devoted cruciverbialist ! What has "I've" got to do with it? And why does my wonderful computer say that cruciverbialist is wrongly spelt??! (or spelled?)
Thanks all. UnderCOAT is the answer, i.e. cot with an (a), but still puzzled about why 'I' got involved!! Must be this god-awful weather atrophying my ageing brain
