Eu Cookie Laws
I put the following post in Technology/Internet and have had no responses as yet but, being as it is a legal question too, I thought I'd pop it up here as well.
My main problem is that I can not find a definitive article telling me what I need to do.
I help manage a local charity website. They have had a letter informing them about EU Cookie compliance.
I have audited the site and it uses no first person cookies (there is no Login or FB "likes", twitter links etc.) there are, however, two pages which have Google links, one for an on line calendar and one for Google Maps, showing location of their offices. None of them appear to be "tracking cookies"
Any tips as to what to do next would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
