I've just been looking at Seagulls season tickets for next year.

Apparently our average attendance is now 25,000

Where were these people when 1,500 of us were shivering in the rain and sleet at Withdean, with seagulls crapping on us coz there was no roof?

Okay, that's my whinge, lol, bit pathetic, I know.

If Cardiff city can hang on 15mins its the premier for us next season, never thought I would see 2 welsh clubs in top flight together, nothing to do with your question but you know what I mean!!
I remember the field at Withdean before Brighton moved there, it was just down the hill from where I worked.

I'm sure it was JJ but I didn't go that far along Tongdean Lane, the bus stopped just on the main road just by where the stadium was.

A ticket for a game used to include a bus ride from the town to Withdean and back.

If you could really be bothered to sit on a bus which made about fifty stops in each direction.
some of us travel by bus all the time, JJ :-)

Oh, but boxy, the bus from Withdean to the town stops EVERYwhere!
That group of paid extras plus John Thompson and Mark Williams are Boro's entire crowd, triggs :-|

All shot at the Riverside Stadium.

But apparently the Boro fans were lovely.

The seagulls fans who went to the game have been saying how welcoming the Boro supporters were.
Swansea, they're mid table at the moment I think! Most depressing looking town in the world....possibly.
Question Author
Aah, yeah yeah ... Swansea.
I've driven in that area a few times recently - how come everywhere is called somethingdean?
Question Author
I hadn't really thought about it, Hopkirk.

I suppose if you head west from Withdean, you do come to Ovingdean, Saltdean and Rottingdean.

But that's normal, isn't it?
