we are just back from a short break in Weymouth two reserves Radipole lake and Lodmoor... highlights Marsh Harrier, Avocet and the resident Hooded Merganser (it arrived 4 years ago and has fallen in with a gang of male tufted so joins in the feeding frenzy when you get a bag of corn from the visitor centre....

Tilly and I are trotting off to Rutland to see the Ospreys...probably when the chicks hatch and I can walk. I have offered to pick Tilly up at Kettering station so if you and Redman fancy a trip down that would be lovely. Think Dave may try to make it too....he's still getting over the birds he saw in Portugal...x
