In the MM Links-Game, 'STRIX THE DILETTANTE' gained a few more friends last week with a more generous offering than in week 1. Was that just a fluke? Or will we see a repeat this weekend?

Either way, the only way to find out is by looking in to Q&P tomorrow morning at 9am (with an introduction at 8:45). Post your guesses as to what link-words have been paired with the four declared challenge words. Game closes at 7pm Sunday when the results will be announced.

I give advance notice that Sunday's results may be a little later than the usual posting time of 7pm as we have visitors and cannot be certain of my availability at 7pm.

Of course, there is always the alternative option to play the KM Links Game. That game is based on the shaded clues in the Telegraph GK Crosswords on Saturday and Sunday. You don't need the paper. Seekeerz will post the first four links early on Saturday morning in Q & P. You have to guess what the four shaded (linked) answers will be in Monday's Herculis crossword.

The shrubbery is now open for socialising should any (fool)hardy individual care to venture forth this evening.

Good evening x-ray - Glad somebody showed up.
Usually it is too cold for people to hang around a shrubbery, but now the sun has come out, they have other things to do.

I'll probably be late posting tomorrow; have to go out early, and although I can enter via my phone I may not have chance to do that. Will catch up with you all eventually, but still without much hope of reading Strix's mind...
