1st June already? Let's hope it's the start of the Summer! Only 3 weeks before the nights start drawing in, and not had one evening BBQ yet :(

Wouldn't it be lovely to think that today is the start of a good few weeks of fine warm weather. To be able to say to friends...come round next Saturday for a BBQ...and know it was not going to be rained indoors. x

That's like when you go on holiday, Hoppy and it's piddling down with rain. Someone always says...Oh you should have been here last month...it was glorious......:-(

We had to plug our car in when we lived in Canada, Headers. Could always tell the folk who had slept in for work....they were the ones belting down the road with the lead trailing. x

A picnic in the mountains...watching for bears was fun...and once we hit a skunk on the motorway....the smell in the car never went. When friends dogs encountered a skunk the only thing that helped get rid of the smell was to wash the dog in tomato juice.
