Stock up on your favourite salad ingredients. Make soups. I put cut up vegetables with some stock, tinned tomatoes and puy lentils in the slow cooker. Eat things like grilled fish/prawns etc. Chicken/eggs/cottage cheese. Start day with porridge or cereal with banana and strawberries on top. My downfall is wine and if I dont drink for a few days my scales show a difference.
You may prefer to be on a diet, but I lose interest when I try to start them.

Kate Grasscarp has given you the best advice. Don't think of diet think of healthy eating. If you don't buy it you can't eat it.
Why don't you join us on a Wednesday to our circle which Xstitcher and I has been running for nearly 3 years now. The Ed always gives us a new monthly post. We just give one another ideas of how we lose and post our gains or losses . You don't need to say your weight if you don't want to. You can find us under weight loss and dieting. We post any day with our little naughties that we have eaten which makes us feel better and helps to get back on track. Good Luck.

Hi kate. I have been doing Slimming World now for 21 months and have lost just over 8 stone now. I started a couple of months after I lost my husband as I realised I had to start taking care of myself. I used to go about 12 years ago and just dug out my books and started again as I can't get to group because of my mobility problems. I like SW because it is more of a healthy eating plan than a diet.
