Charles Moore, is not wrong when he said "the only serious violence was against a British soldier" regardless of the other uncalled for retaliation attacks (if that is what they were) you can't get any more serious than the decapitation of an innocent soldier.

What Sadiq Khan fails to address in his condemnation of how Muslims are treated compared to others, is the fact that it is only British persons from the Islamic faith who have blood on their hands, spilt by their fellow countrymen and women at their hands, whereas those non Muslims that he addresses have never yet planned and committed such detestable acts.

I'd have to agree with Sadiq Khan here. Charles Moore is a respected journalist with an inpressive CV of work, but in the article quoted here he seems to have let emotion get the better of him.

to me there's a fairly direct link between the King David bombing and, for instance, the 7/7 attacks on London.

Irgun launch terror attacks on the British in Palestine.

British pull out, demonstrating that terrorism can work.

Palestinians lose their homeland.

Other Muslims take up arms on their behalf, angry about Israel and their western backers.

Muslim terrorists bomb London transport.

I don't know at what point on that line you think history stops. To me it's all a continuum.

to all intents and purposes we dont have a jewish community (total roughly 350,000) over here wanting to turn this into a jewish state
we dont have jewish hate groups like chowdrey et al, hating our country and people, wishing death on us infidels, committing terrorist acts of murder etc on our soil.

whereas muslims, well over a million, would happily see this as a muslim state, some have committed terrorisr murders , thousands belong to extremist groups who hate us, but happy to take our benefits

Zeuhl, muslim terrorist have a way to go to catch up with Irish terrorists but there are lot more than on your list, don't forget the failed and discovered bomb plots and those that only harmed the perpetrators. But no Jewish bombers so far which is the nub of the question.

The bombing of the king David Hotel was preceded by a warning phone call to clear the building: it was ignored.

The IRA also often gave warnings before a bomb was detonated.

Muslim terrorists delight in killing - even themselves - so have no reason to give warnings; killing being the aim.

Anyone who sees a connection between attacking a military headquarters and blowing up civilian buses and trains has to have an extremely narrow and biased view of history.

Nobody was killed in any arson attack and death was not the proven intent. Every single terrorist plot here, and every single terrorist attack here, in the last few years has been by Muslims and every one of those plots and attacks has been with the specific intent of murder. Don't quite see the equivalence.
