9 down - Port man's drunk during journey, during journey, getting in trouble (5, 7) I've seen the answer given as Santo Domingo, but I can't figure out the wordplay. Can anyone enlighten me, please?

man's drunk = SANM - the anagram in this instance
during = IN
journey = GO
getting in trouble = put TO DO in the middle

Thanks for the explanation Bibblebub.When I entered the answer last night I just saw it was a port (5,7) and looked at the layout of letters and checked through my Bradford's crossword lists.I wouldn't have got the wordplay in a decade of Sunday's leave alone a month.

I have to admit that yesterday I simply put Santo Domingo in the grid because the letters meant that it had to be the answer and only worked out the explanation when this question appeared.
