Greetings to all Mad Over Fifties, the Towers are now open for tonight's meeting. Tonight, it's Liberty Hall! Down at the beach there's a barbecue and local band the Tone Deafs will be providing the music. Speaking for myself I have decided something summery and floaty ...... you will find me wearing the swimming pool! The Minstrels are back in the gallery ready to inflict their usual madrigals and toccatas upon us. We have no hot plate specials or a selection of puddings, but barbecue is available, and Luigi's ice cream van is also down at the beach. There's a tea house down at the lake serving an assortment of refreshments, and within the Towers there is a buffet table with a choice of volley vonts and canopies. The Mixologist will be mixing a variety of tailcocks to suit everyone's individual tastes!
So come one come all, the hot tub is set to "tepid" (who wants hot in this heat?) the mini bar s full to bursting. The gardens and grounds at Nungate Towers is at the disposal of all Mad Over Fifties, so if there's anything special you particularly want simply ask!

A "warm" welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

carriages at midnight.

Why are we in puzzles ?
Question Author
So, I'm on the case now - it will happen.
The reason we suggested Ocean Terminal was that it's got nice places to eat and drink, you can park, and there's nice shops to visit (if the inclination takes you) As for getting Alba from the station - or anyone else for that matter I have transport provided by Best beloved (who is the nicest most obliging chap and basically Queenie has him wrapped round her finger)
He'll pick up anyone needing a lift, and either me or Qom will be there as a welcoming committee. So all we have to do is set a date and time.
Question Author
MoFC has always been in puzzles apparently. It started there in the dark mists of AB history, and it has special dispensation to remain there as opposed to appearing in Chatterbank.
Sounds good nun....the place that overlooks the water is good for eats.....there is also the indoor skate park for Queenie ?..lol...
Question Author

Sorry schlepped off to put on my jammies! Have to wake Mr N asleep on the other sofa as it'll soon be time for beddie byes - seems a shame to wake him he looks so peaceful!
Ahh.... Chuck a blanket over him !.....
Question Author
in this heat? We have two fans going in the living room! It's alright, he woke up - he's doing a bit of laundry and his stuff was in the dryer! I tell you this man is too good to be true. Does his own laundry, irons, and helps me around the house with the chores - I must have done something really good in a previous life to deserve this wee gem!
What do you charge for the hour ?.....send him round !.... does he do grass ?
Question Author
He did, until we moved to a house without grass - then we freecycled the mower! I only have him weekends as he works shifts throughout the week,
and we can't arrange much in advance as his start times vary from day to day (which annoys the hell out of me!)
Ah well....good lad anyway !.....wonder bout cookers ? ..
......and attics...... and the garage ....
Is Slappy gone ?
