Lacrosse World Cup 2013 - The End - Goodbye And Thank You
3 Answers
It's all over.
Disappointment all round on the last day. Canada's four year dream of a home victory was shattered, and England were beaten in the Bronze medal game.
FINAL
Canada 5-19 US
BRONZE
England 6-12 Australia
We just have to admit that the US are very, very good at Lacrosse. That's why so many American college Lacrosse players teach it in English schools, I suppose.
So, anyway, the next World Cup is in 2017. There will be another home team, hoping for a home victory. And, in 2017, the World Cup will be in ... England!
Even four years ahead, I have to say ... COME ON ENGLAND!
And, even better, it's being played at Surrey Sports Park, home of my beloved Surrey Storm netball team. So ... see you all there for a picnic, and some REAL sports action?
In the meantime, from the AB Lacrosse World Cup threads ... goodbye, and thank you for looking in.
