I am trying to do the latest Air Ambulance Quiz and have spent too much time on it already. Can anyone give me a few clues.

What could possibly connect fish or onion

What could possibly connect thread or crest

Mix London gardens & spots on body. I am struggling with the spots on body.

Any help would be appreciated

London Gardens etc - Kew - Quarashi
Question Author
Thank you. You have given me a clue here.
Do all 3 clues lead to groups/singers?
Question Author
To factor-fiction. yes, all clues lead to groups/singers. What I have asked is part of the clues in each case.
you have asked part of the clues could you tell us all the clue ?
spots - measles, pox, acne, moles (none of them sound like pop groups!)
There's rash or freckles also, boxtops. I can't see the answer though
We are good at these between us but need the exact clues please
I thought I had found the answer - Kew gardens (Q) and a rash. Quarashi.
I saw your answer, grasscarp (although I can only think of one song of theirs and it was only a minor hit so I'm not convinced)

QUARASHI was a Rap metal group from Reykjavík,
OK. Will watch this space for something else. (walks away hanging head in shame)
And I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Cor- ashy rather than Kew-rashy.
It's the best answer we have Grasscarp and it could be right- I just feel the pronunciation is wrong and the answers in these things are usually less obscure.

Thank you all for replying. The full questions are as follows and there are no number of letter.
Able to vote, fish or onion
This one flows, thread or crest
Hi bpxtops- another possibility is that the 'spots on body' are zits. Answer could end in zits or zitty. I think rash is more likely though. Maybe grasscarp is right
Just had an idea:
Kew + rash is an anagram of Kershaw

It could be Nick Kershaw but I can't see anything in the clue that leads to the 'nick' unless the word 'take' or something like that has been omitted
For the London gardens one is there a missing part of the clue which would give the 'Nick' in Nick Kershaw

The two you have left remaining are:
1) Able to vote, fish or onion
2) This one flows, thread or crest

I don't know the answers but these thoughts may help boxtops, grasscarp etc get to the answer.

1) Able to vote, fish or onion.
-Able to vote could be adult, man, 18, suffrage, elector
-fish could be a type of fish or could be a synonym such as net, bait, hook, angle
- for onion I can only think of pickle or spring

2) This one flows, thread or crest
- This one flows could be a river (Nile, Po, Dee. Tyne...)
- thread: cotton, string, wool,...
- crest: peak, head, top

Thank you everyone.
Happy to have helped (if I have)- but I'm still not sure if there was something missing from the clue you gave for the London gardens question, nor whether you have found the answers now for the other two.
