A new month and therefore new battles commence with fresh scoreboards. Anyone can join in, just look in Q&P tomorrow morning. More details below.

The July MM Links was won by tearinghair who has been a recent setter so The honour of setter was passed to x-ray who had never set the links. Unfortunately x-ray has been unable to take up the offer and negotiatons are in hand with second-placed beejay1124. If these conclude successfully, an introduction should appear in Q&P at 8:45 tomorrow morning followed by the challenge itself at 9:00. Early players have most chance of picking up bonus points but play anytime before 7pm Sunday.

Our sister game, The KM Links, is overseen by seekeerz. That is based on the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords (set by Kate Mepham, hence 'KM'). The game starts early on Saturday but play anytime before midnight on Sunday for an equal chance of points. New players always welcome.


The shrubbery is now open for socialising by those who are still waiting for their 'tucker-in' to arrive. Please leave tide and don't all crawl out in an ungainly rush at 9am tomorrow.
