Did you read the OP question. Hullo took 104 years to get into the top flight. The question was - any teams over 104 years?

Yes - Plymouth is the largest city in England never to have had a top flight club. They have been formed since 1903 - so they have been waiting 110 years.

Mansfield Town - formed in 1897 and never played in the top league .... I'm sure there'll be others that have waited longer .... if anyone cares (can be arsed) to look ????

Wycombe Wanderers formed in 1887 - I suppose this still counts, as they are a "proper" football team, even though the majority of the time, they have been in the non-league ????

Sheffield F.C.

...... nothing to do with Sheffield Wednesday or Sheffield United - a completely different club, still going and currently playing in the Northen Premier League, Division 1 South.

Sheffield F.C. is the world's oldest football club, founded in 1857 (156 years ago) and have never played in the top flight, since the league started in 1888.

I suppose technically speaking, no team could have been waiting more than 125 years, 'cos that's when the football league first started.
