Re q.25 HEAL NO SAT (anagram of a place in England) Has any-one managed to sort this one out ? I don't want the answer. I can only find something in the right area, very similar in letters but not exact. If the setter reads this please would you confirm the clue is correct? Many thanks.

Can't help with 25, but I have had correction email from setter re 47, which says Change one L to a V

If they have corrected paper version since this, it should have letters BOW VICE SLIME

Why not contact setter - email address in Round Up section

I know a very small hamlet/village on the Fosse Way that fits those letters. As I don't have the quiz I don't know if that's where you are looking.

Aston Hale does not appear to exist according to O/S site.

Go back to original anagram,
do what catbird said, change an 'A' to an 'R'
there are 3 places in UK with same name.

Thank you each and every one , Wolf has provided the correct answer it would seem, but my atlas does not show it, and my google map only shows an empty field. It is in exactly the right place so perhaps something famous happened in the area, it crtainly looks empty on the map. Many thanks, it is a good quiz.

Hello to all of you on this thread, I set the questions, sorry.......
The place at number 25 (the letters given are correct) is on my quite large atlas, when I set the quiz, I needed more places to make it longer, so I used the large map book, as it has some different places in it. My original map was the one dad had used and is actually quite small. I am not letting on whether any of the suggestions above are right or wrong you will have to wait until December, after I have marked it.

Oh Bettysue, what a lovely comment - I would not expect confirmation of anything unless it was an error of course, and I have really enjoyed the quiz (now finshed and awaiting posting) Gosh your father was certainly a keen cyclist ! Hope you get good support for the quiz. Julie
