Daddy has this big bushy patch ...

(I had to phrase it like that, for comedy value)

Like a shrubbery, sort of thing?

Okay, hang on ... so it's a load of bushy things, all growing in a clump. It's probably about 30ft x 30ft, and maybe 15ft high in the middle.

Anyway, the thing is, he wants to move the whole thing further down the garden. So here is JJ, the super garden research person, trying to find out if it can be done.

Can you get some sort of big digger thing to make a hole, and move them all, or something like that?

My gardening expertise is a bit limited.

I believe Pickfords can move nearly anything.

Holy crap! Look at that thing!!!

I didn't expect such a quick reply. Thank you, Frank.

I wonder where you hire one of those from?
No idea where you'd hire one, probably have to get a firm to do it.

Yes, I don't suppose you can use them yourself.

Be fun, though!
Capability Brown would move whole groves of mature trees to more scenic positions, and with only 18th-century technology, which I suppose meant armies of slaves provided by his employers, and lots of stout twine. So yes, it can be done.
