What Great Detective Of The Past Would You Like To See Made Into A Tv Series.

I could name a couple, Sexton Blake and Paul Temple for example, I always think these period type series are much better than those set in present day, much more atmospheric if you see what I mean?

It's hard to think of a fictional detective that hasn't featured in a televised version of the stories they appeared in.

Not always true as they spoil them by giving them skills that simply would not have been employed until quite recently. 'Copper' was spoiled because of that for me.

There was a Paul Temple tv series. 64 episodes with Francis Matthews playing the hero.
