Wasn't too sure where to put this, but can someone just explain the bidding rules in poker. If 1st person bets �1 and 2nd person 'sees' �1 and raises 50p has the third person got to place �1.50 to stay in. Tia

Logically, I would say YES.

More accurately, to stay in, each player has to have in front of him on the table the same stake. So it may be a matter of making it up to the total of the current stake. So if the current bet is �10 and a player has �5 in front of him (which may even be one of the two blinds) he only needs to place �5 in order to 'call' and stay in that round.
