The poppies are expiring and I need to replace the current Avatar. So therefore some fun perhaps in finding me an appropriate one; it must contain a sheep and something to do with Thanksgiving as that is the next celebration on the horizon....could be a pumpkin, a house, or even include a bottle of wine.

Those who know me are aware that I have some American linkage, therefore the honouring of it. I like the festival too as it's family oriented and no heavy commercialism to it (though the day after is the biggest US sale day of the year) - also, over there it draws a line under all the early Christmas hogwash when it comes to in-store displays and advertising. It's a shame we don't have anything like that or come up with something to 'break' between August Bank Holiday and the 25th of the 12th.

I like LIK's and Mamyas.....thanks to all so far. Trigger's was par for the course.

Boxie - folk keep whole pumpkins outside their houses along with wheatsheaves and the like for T-giving - and there is Pumpkin Pie as a dessert (Give me Pecan Pie any day though).
