Hi if you are looking to do something home made have you thought of making your own Christmas decos out of cornflour dough?
I cant remember the exact recipe but you basically mix cornflour and water it makes a soft dough. Nurseries often use it instead of play dough as it is cheaper and no nasty chemicals :-)
you can use food colouring to dye it and add glitter too. You can shape it easily using your hands or cookie cutters, your little one could even do some himself.
then you leave it to harden, takes about a day depending on how thick the piece is.
If you want to you can then paint using poster paint and/or varnish to keep the colours.
Dont forget to put in a hole somewhere before it hardens so you can thread a bit of string through :-).
