jeepers, the death of a character is a 'fun way' to shake things up?

I'm sure his gran's funeral was a right hoot.

I know, it's only a cartoon etc, etc, but sensitivity never really exudes from the pores of an American.

Yes...surprised it wasn't one of the supporting characters.

However, they have a 'get out clause'. Stewie could always rebuild his time machine and save him, if the new character turns out to be unpopular with fans.

Unsure I see the point of killing one character off just to replace them with an equally unbelievable one. Anyway the problem with the show isn't the characters, it's the repeats within days of a previous showing.
