I owe you one Denise (for want of a better expression). Not found the exact picture and am only 99% sure but try searching this young lady out - Gloria May Josephine Svensson.

Kosoro  -  If you were a Quizmail competitor, you would realise that Number 69 was a photograph of a 20's, 30's movie star and if I knew who she was I wouldn't have to give the number of letters in her name.

Denise, You seem to have overlooked that 3shortplanks was trying to give a clue, albeit such an obvious one it may as well have been given as a straight answer. I suspect you were trying to be helpful but why did you choose to give the answer that you think it is?

What I do not understand is why when you admit it is "a bit of a cheat" which is really just plain cheating you needed to ask for help when there are still 18 days left to research in.

The essence of these quizzes is to research. Dig a bit deper and don't just rely on the internet and you probably find the answer yourself.

As far as I am concerned, Answer Bank is a legitimate source for obtaining answers.  Presumably you get 150 each month, and happily bank the proceeds.   Can you honestly say that every answer you give is solely by your own efforts, because I know of several teams who co-operate by telephone or in person which is no different from co-operating by internet

Denise S. Postalquiz is correct, I was giving a clue. I knew the answer to be the one you have given. You'll find most people prefer clues to the correct answer.
